    1. Explain layout as arrangement of advertisement elements.
    2. Identify attention, hierarchy and reading-flow functions.
    3. Compare suitable layout forms.
  2. Design principles

    1. Apply balance, proportion, contrast and unity.
    2. Use white space and emphasis purposefully.
    3. Align elements with the intended viewing sequence.
  3. Layout evaluation

    1. Produce rough alternatives for a defined brief.
    2. Assess legibility and message prominence.
    3. Refine the chosen layout for its medium.
