Topic Objectives
After studying this topic, students should be able to:
- Explain the scope and key elements of assignment and preparation.
- Apply the relevant marketing concepts to a defined customer group, market or business decision.
Curriculum Scope
- The subject teachers shall have to discuss with the students on possible topics of the project work, availability and sources of literature, availability of data, data collection methods, appropriate tools of data analysis, etc relevant to the subject within 10 lecture hours.

Teacher-guided preparation
- Discuss possible advertising topics and their feasibility.
- Identify available literature and data sources.
- Clarify objectives and required project outputs.
Methods planning
- Select suitable collection and analysis methods.
- Plan sampling, permissions and ethical data handling.
- Develop a realistic work schedule.
Allocation and consultation
- Use the stated ten lecture hours for the overall guided preparation component.
- Do not assign those hours independently to each subtopic.
- Revise the proposal using teacher feedback.
