    1. Explain political risk and relevant categories.
    2. Identify country-wide and firm-specific exposures.

    1. Assess effects on assets, contracts, market access and operations.
    2. Consider policy changes, instability and administrative disruption.
    3. Analyze probability and impact using stated assumptions.
  3. Response

    1. Identify monitoring, diversification and contractual responses.
    2. Evaluate the limits of mitigation tools.
    3. Prepare a reasoned risk assessment for a proposed activity.
