  1. Moments

    1. Raw moments about an origin and central moments about the mean.
    2. Calculation from individual or frequency data.
    3. Relationships between raw and central moments.
  2. Moment-based shape measures

    1. Use central moments to measure skewness.
    2. Use standardized fourth moments to examine kurtosis.
    3. Distinguish ordinary kurtosis from excess kurtosis when interpreting coefficients.
