    1. Conformability through matching matrix orders.
    2. Element-by-element operations.
    3. Scalar multiplication and basic algebraic properties.
  2. Matrix multiplication

    1. Row-by-column calculation and order requirements.
    2. Interpret the resulting matrix order.
    3. Recognize that multiplication is generally not commutative.
