    1. Purpose of period-end adjustments.

    3. Depreciation and other prescribed adjustments.
  2. Adjusted trial balance

    1. Calculate and journalize adjustments.
    2. Update balances and prepare the adjusted trial balance.
    3. Trace adjustments into financial statements.
