    1. Earnings available to the relevant shareholders.
    2. Earnings per share and dividend per share.
    3. Appropriate share count and period convention.
  2. Market evaluation

    1. Price–earnings ratio and its inputs.
    2. Calculation and interpretation of all three measures.
    3. Limits with negative, unusual or incomparable earnings.
